Design Nation is a design conference for students and young people with a love for design. It celebrates and incorporates a diverse community of people who understand the importance of design and its role. My role was to create a tote bag design for their 2021 conference.
IDEA
Design industry can be pretty broad when you think of it, but all of the designers have one thing in common, their most precious tool - hands. All of them use them, right? Even if you are an illustrator, graphic designer, web design, animator, painter or sculptor - you use them. The solution was to illustrate them interlacing a Design Nation logo, representing a 'nation' in itself, as well as looking at them like a tool used to express one's creativity and bring solutions.
